Design for a particular moment
- Welcome
- Introduce the next useful step using the interests or preferences supplied to the campaign.
- Discovery
- Make a category, product or service feel relevant to the audience’s stated context.
- Loyalty
- Build a milestone story or explain a relevant benefit using the data available for that campaign.
- Re-engagement
- Reconnect with a clear reason to return and an appropriate next action.
These are campaign design examples, not customer case studies or claims of measured conversion uplift.
Map the signal to a creative decision
For each campaign, write down the supplied signal, the audience rule, the creative variation and the default. A category interest could select a relevant scene; a journey stage could change the script or the next-step message.
Engage does not need to be positioned as only an e-commerce product. Product videos are one application of the same audience-led approach. The personalization guide explains the creative controls.
Connect the story to the surrounding workflow
Define how audience data enters the campaign, which configured channel carries the output and where the next action is measured. If a CRM or another application is involved, verify its field mapping and the supported integration path.
Measure the campaign against an agreed outcome. Keep generated output, successful delivery and observed response separate. A proposed journey does not demonstrate a native connector, a built-in optimization engine or a business result.
QUESTIONS, WITH CONTEXT
Go one question deeper.
Explore the details that matter for this part of the workflow.
Choosing a customer moment
Start with relevance, then choose the creative.
Is Engage only intended for e-commerce product videos?
No. Behavior-based personalization and audience segmentation apply across customer journeys. E-commerce and product videos are useful examples alongside welcome, discovery, loyalty and re-engagement campaigns.
What makes a welcome-video campaign meaningfully personal?
Choose a useful next step based on supplied interests, preferences or journey context, then align the scene and message with it. A first-name greeting can be one detail; the creative decision should make the story more relevant.
How could a loyalty campaign use audience signals?
A campaign could choose a milestone message or explain a relevant benefit using supplied recipient attributes and configured rules. This is a design example, not a claim of a live customer deployment or measured uplift.
Data, delivery and measurement
Make the surrounding workflow part of the brief.
Does a customer-journey example establish a native CRM connector?
No. Verify how data enters the workflow, which fields are mapped and which supported interface performs each step. A possible campaign use case does not establish an installed or generally available connector.
How should I choose the next action for a campaign?
Match it to the customer moment and the delivery surface: a useful resource, relevant collection or next onboarding step may fit different audiences. Confirm how that action is implemented and measured in the chosen workflow.
What outcome should a journey pilot measure?
Choose an outcome that fits the campaign’s purpose and define its observation window. Track usable video output and delivery separately from the customer’s response so operational progress is not mistaken for a business result.
